Alan M. Robinson is founder and principal of A. M. Robinson Environmental, LLC. He earned a B.A. in Geology from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.A. in Geography from the Johns Hopkins University, with an emphasis in geomorphology and water resources planning, science, engineering and policy. At Century Engineers, BCM Engineers, STV, Earth Tech and ARCADIS, Mr. Robinson obtained extensive project technical, managerial and client service experience. He is a Registered Professional Geologist and is OSHA 1910.120 certified.
From a 35-year career participating in and leading projects for architecture/engineering design and environmental firms, Mr. Robinson brings a diverse array of tools and experience to clients' projects. From conceptual design to construction and from problem identification to remediation, he has independently and collaboratively delivered successful solutions.
Mr. Robinson has performed projects in the eastern United States from Massachusetts through Virginia and west to West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky, Illinois, Alabama, Arkansas and California. He has performed extensive work in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York. A. M. Robinson Environmental's office is minutes from center city Philadelphia and immediately accessible to the regional highway network, Amtrak's 30th Street Station and Philadelphia International Airport.
Mr. Robinson's technical and project management experience is unusual, in that it includes water resources, contaminated site investigation/remediation, environmental impact assessment/mitigation and floodplain management. It consists of studies, design and construction management. He has led an environmental laboratory and provides consulting services in the industrial, commercial, transportation and government sectors. References to his work as A. M.
